flydubai strengthens operations in Italy with increased frequency to Naples and Milan

• The Dubai-based carrier increases its operations to Naples to a daily service from 27 July
• To cater to the increased travel demand for the winter period, flydubai will boost its Milan-Bergamo frequency to a double daily service from 31 July

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 29 July 2026: flydubai, the Dubai-based carrier, has increased its daily operations between Dubai and Naples and is set to boost its flights to Milan-Bergamo to a double-daily operation from 31 July, further enhancing passenger connectivity to Italy and expanding its offering to its network in Europe.

Due to scheduled maintenance works at Naples International Airport (NAP), the airline will temporarily operate daily flights from Dubai International (DXB) to Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport (QSR) from 01 to 30 November 2026, before resuming services to Naples International Airport (NAP) from 01 December.

During this period, passengers with existing bookings to Naples will be automatically rebooked onto flights to Salerno, ensuring their journeys continue without disruption. The temporary switch offers seamless connectivity for passengers travelling between Dubai and Naples, while reinforcing Dubai’s role as a global hub for travel, trade and tourism.

With the increased frequencies, the carrier will serve Italy with a double-daily frequency to Milan-Bergamo, daily flights to Naples, thrice-weekly flights to Catania, alongside seasonal summer flights to Olbia, operating twice weekly until the end of August.

As part of its ongoing network expansion, flydubai has recently launched services to Aleppo in Syria, Bangkok in Thailand and Benghazi in Libya, with direct flights to Pokhara in Nepal set to commence on 23 September, further enhancing connectivity to key destinations across the Middle East and Southeast Asia.

The flydubai experience

This includes lie-flat seats in Business Class and ergonomically designed seats in Economy Class, ensuring a comfortable and restful journey, with a wide selection of internationally inspired dining options, light snacks and refreshments served throughout the flight, alongside hours of inflight entertainment, available for passengers across all cabins at no additional cost.

flydubai will also soon introduce Starlink high-speed connectivity across its fleet, further enhancing the passenger experience across its growing network.

Flight details

The Naples and Milan-Bergamo services are operated under the flydubai and Emirates codeshare partnership, offering passengers the convenience of streamlined itineraries, single-ticket bookings and through-checked baggage.

Flights will temporarily operate daily from Terminal 3 at Dubai International (DXB) to Salerno Costa d’Amalfi and Cilento Airport (QSR) from 01 to 30 November 2026, before services resume to Naples International Airport (NAP) from 01 December 2026.

Return Business Class fares from DXB to QSR start from AED 14,135 and Economy Class Lite fares start from AED 2,885.

Return Business Class fares from QSR to DXB start from EUR 3,080 and Economy Class Lite fares start from EUR 610.
