His Excellency Mohamed bin Hadi Al Hussaini, Minister of State for Financial Affairs, emphasised that Flag Day rekindles the spirit of the Union and reinforces our conviction that the flag is far more than a material symbol. It represents a proud national journey, built by visionary leaders who understood that the nation’s strength begins with unity of hearts and sincerity of purpose.
On this occasion, Al Hussaini said, we recall the values of loyalty and belonging championed by our Founding Fathers, and we reaffirm our pride in a nation that, in every aspect, exemplifies generosity, dedication, and tireless work toward a brighter future for its people.
In a statement marking Flag Day, His Excellency added, “The annual raising of the flag is a renewed declaration of our nation's determination and resolve, a testament to our steadfast belief that the UAE’s strength lies in the unity of its people and the trust of its leadership. It is a moment of pride that inspires us all to carry forward the journey led by the nation’s citizens, who have made the name of the UAE synonymous with excellence, progress, and human advancement.”
The Minister continued: “At the Ministry of Finance, we reaffirm our pledge to serve our nation with loyalty and to work in unison to bolster its economic sustainability and global leadership. The flag flying high above our entities represents a shared responsibility and a source of inspiration, driving us to serve with devotion and sincerity. We are committed to ensuring the UAE continues to soar with pride, fulfilling the vision of our Founding Fathers and empowered by the unwavering resolve of its people, today and in the future.”
