Statement by H.E. Ahmad Saeed bin Meshar, SLC Secretary General, On the Occasion of UAE Flag Day 2025

02 November 2025 – UAE Flag Day is a celebration of the powerful symbol that unites us and inspires within us a profound sense of pride and belonging. As it flies high, we reflect on our nation's extraordinary journey with immense gratitude and reverence, and renew our commitment to our wise leadership, pledging to advance our nation towards ever-greater prosperity.

On this glorious occasion, we extend our warmest congratulations to His Highness Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and Ruler of Dubai. We also congratulate Their Highnesses the Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates, and all the citizens and residents of this prosperous and generous nation.

We, at the Supreme Legislation Committee in the Emirate of Dubai, reaffirm our pledge of loyalty and allegiance to the Flag of the Union; may it forever fly high as a symbol of our unity and a testament to our national achievements.
