His Royal Highness also listened to a detailed explanation of the library's facilities, which include nine and eight digital databases. AlMazrooei also highlighted the library's pioneering initiatives, namely 'A World in Your Language' initiative, which aims to break language barriers by providing literary material in nine languages.

AlMazrooei also highlighted the library's fruitful visits to the King Saud University Library, which contribute to sharing knowledge and expertise.

Reflecting on the importance of audiobooks, His Royal Highness highlighted that 'A World in Your Language' initiative will revolutionise traditional reading, allowing readers to explore publications in the voices of their authors, and adding an interactive element to their reading experience.

As part of the visit, His Royal Highness toured the library's diverse facilities, including modern classrooms and specialised libraries. He commended the services provided to students and researchers, emphasising the library's pivotal role in promoting education and culture in society.

Furthermore, His Royal Highness reviewed the library's annual cultural agenda, which comprises film screenings, visual arts, Arabic calligraphy workshops, skill and personal development training courses, reading evenings, and musical performances representing diverse global cultures.

The visit included a tour of the Treasures of the Library Exhibition, where His Royal Highness viewed rare pieces documenting the journey of human civilisation and highlighting Dubai's commitment to global human heritage. He also listened to a detailed explanation of key exhibits, before concluding his tour at the Arab Journalism Exhibition, which documents the history of journalism in the Arab region.

At the end of the visit, the two parties took photos together. They also expressed their desire to repeat these meetings, which embody the depth of cultural relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the UAE, and reinforce Dubai's position as a key destination on the global cultural map.
