Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Receives ExxonMobil Chairman and CEO Darren Woods

Abu Dhabi, UAE, 1 August 2023: His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Chairman of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council, has met with ExxonMobil Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Darren Woods in Abu Dhabi.

During the meeting, His Highness and Mr Woods discussed existing partnerships in the energy sector, as well as new opportunities for collaboration to accelerate decarbonisation and enhance knowledge exchange and technical expertise. 
 
They also discussed the state of the global energy sector, its future trajectory, and the importance of keeping pace with technological advancements to enable lower carbon energy solutions and strengthen global energy security.
The meeting was attended by His Excellency Dr Sultan Ahmed Al Jaber, UAE Minister of Industry and Advanced Technology and Managing Director and Group CEO of ADNOC; and His Excellency Saif Saeed Ghobash, Secretary General of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council.
