H.E. Al Olama: MoHAP is Committed to establishing a world-class Healthcare System that meets the Evolving needs of all members of UAE Society

Dubai April 6th, 2023: HE Dr Mohammed Salim Al Olama, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health and Prevention (MoHAP), said that the World Health Day provides an opportunity to celebrate the UAE's and global accomplishments in healthcare, which have significantly contributed to enhancing the quality of life.
Speaking on the global occasion, which coincides with the World Health Organization's 75th anniversary and is marked on April 7 every year, Al Olama stressed that the ministry will continue to make every possible effort to govern a comprehensive health system by developing innovative policies and regulations, managing health programs and services, and utilizing artificial intelligence technologies to enhance the patient experience and facilitate better access to health services.
He went on to say that the ministry is committed to constantly improving the delivery of healthcare and ensuring its accessibility and effectiveness. The WHO’s theme for this year’s celebration "Health for All" highlights the growing need to promote public health as the true wealth of humanity. It also highlights the importance of providing universal healthcare and affirms that access to healthcare is a fundamental right that should be made available to everyone, without any discrimination.
“We, at the Ministry of Health and Prevention, are determined to establish a world-class health system that meets the physical and mental health needs of all members of UAE society. To do so, the Ministry will promote awareness of a healthy and balanced lifestyle through various initiatives and events aligned with the objectives of the National Policy to promote healthy lifestyles. The Ministry is also keen to play an active role in supporting international efforts to provide a sustainable and healthy environment for all communities.
