Organizing Committee of NAS Sports Tournament approves Main Sponsors for the 10th Edition of the Tournament

The Organizing Committee of NAS Sports Tournament has announced the renewal of the sponsorship agreement with Dubai Duty Free & Al-Tayer Motors as main sponsors for the 10th edition of the Tournament; the biggest of its kind, which takes place during the Holy Month of Ramadan at Nad Al-Sheba Sports Complex, under title: “Unlimited Abilities”.

 
Participants in the 10th edition of the Tournament will compete in eight sports competitions; these are: volleyball, padel tennis, jiujitsu, archery, fencing, wheelchair basketball, running and cycling.
 
The renewal of the sponsorship with Dubai Duty Free & Al-Tayer Motors embodies the fruitful cooperation with governmental entities & private sector and confirms the remarkable status of the Tournament & the keenness of all parties to attain its promising goals, as decided by H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, the Crown Prince of Dubai & Chairman of the Executive Council, who has launched the event in 2013 aiming to popularize the culture of the exercise of sport among the various classes of society & to boost technical levels of athletes of different categories & multi-nationalities. The Tournament provides wonderful competitive environment, offers valuable motivating prizes for participants and attracts all family members to enjoy watching the various competitions’ matches.     
 
H.E. Saeed Hareb, the Secretary General of Dubai Sports Council & Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Tournament, affirmed that H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed’s support & wise directives have provided the society in general & the sports sector in particular with the most eminent sports event; i.e. NAS Sports Tournament, taking into account that the Tournament has been witnessing continuous developments besides additions in the numbers of its sports competitions.  
 
He mentioned: “The Tournament has attained remarkable success during the last nine editions, thanks to the generous support & wise directives of H.H. Sheikh Hamdan Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, who has instructed respective bodies to provide all necessary factors of success for this event. The Tournament has also met its sports & social goals, confirming its distinctive status as the most eminent sports event during the Holy Month of Ramadan & throughout the year. Amateur & professional athletes from UAE & overseas wait for the coming of the Month of Ramadan every year to participate in the Tournament and win valuable money prizes & distinguished commemorative awards. Partners & sponsors, comprising governmental entities & private companies, have also contributed to this success, based on their belief in the importance of the Tournament to meet many sports & community goals. Dubai Duty Free has renewed its sponsorship as main sponsor for the 10th edition of NAS Sports Tournament.
