Roaming Display of Ornate Light and Colour thrill Visitors at 41st SIBF

Sharjah, November 08, 2022:  Like something from the Disney movie, Beauty and the Beast, visitors were treated to a spectacle of wonder as Theatre Illumiere performers presented their act The Living Lamp Posts, at the 41st Sharjah International Book Fair.

Towering above the public, these performers, perched on top of stilts, made their way through the halls and book stands in full theatrical makeup and costumes to the wonder of adults and children alike. 

Adorned with giant lamps on each arm, performers delighted the roaming crowds and truly lit up the room as they interacted with the visiting public, taking time to be featured in pictures and ‘selfies’ as they paraded through the aisles and halls, leaving smiles and joy in their wake.
