Social Satire London Apartment starring Tareq Al Ali & Elham Alfadalah will be Staged at SIBF 2022

The GCC-based comedy play will run one daily show every day from November 3 - 5
Sharjah, October 22, 2022: For the first time at the Sharjah International Book Fair theatre, the critically acclaimed social satire from the GCC, London Apartment, will be staged at the upcoming 41st annual edition of the 12-day event which takes place in Expo Centre Sharjah from November 2 - 13 under the theme ‘Spread the Word’.
The Arabic language play is set in an apartment in London and is a social comedy rich in exciting events about many current social issues. The 3.5 hour show targets the 18+ age group and will run three daily shows from November 3 - 5, 7pm - 10:30pm.
Written by Issa Ahmad and directed by Mosa Arty, the play’s cast also includes Juma Ali, Mays Gumir, Shehab Johar, Shahad Salman and Mishal Al Eidan.
London Apartment is part of 123 immersive theatrical shows and roaming parades curated for SIBF 2022 that will be led by 22 artists and performers from 8 countries.

That is why we are hosting this comedy play dedicated to adults for the first time in the history of the book fair, to encourage talents and present amazing works of GCC actors to both local and global audiences.”
