• Taking place from 14th to 18th November, the week-long event raises awareness on the business benefits of adopting a diverse and inclusive work environment.  
 
Dubai, UAE - November 09, 2021:   Dubai Chamber's Centre for Responsible Business will be hosting its annual Dubai Chamber Sustainability Week 2021 between 14th to 18th November with events and activities throughout the week raising awareness about the best practices and business and social benefits of adopting a diverse and inclusive work environment.
 
To be held virtually under the theme Celebrating Diversity & Inclusion, Building Inclusive Workplace, the week-long event aims to help companies to further strengthen their capabilities to harness the potential of diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
 
Some of the main events of the Dubai Chamber Sustainability Week 2021 include: CEO Dialogue, which will focus on how companies can develop more inclusive strategies and practices, promote actionable diversity and inclusion practices and initiatives in the workplace. The event will feature a roundtable discussion on challenges and opportunities for companies who adopt such an approach, as well as discussions joined by public and private sector stakeholders who will examine the role of technologies and tools that assist companies to make their organisational cultures more inclusive.
 
Dr. Belaid Rettab, Chief Economist and Senior Director, Economic Research & Sustainable Business Development, Dubai Chamber said Dubai Chamber Sustainability Week aims to strengthen the cooperation between businesses and key stakeholders, and encourage companies to learn about how other industry players have been successful in integrating diversity and inclusion as part of their organisational cultures.
 
He noted that the theme of Dubai Chamber Sustainability Week is aligned with Expo 2020 Dubai, which aims to connect minds and cultures from around the world and share knowledge and best practices on CSR and sustainability matters.
