Emirates Post CEO Peter Somers wins Industry Leadership Award at World Post & Parcel Awards 2021

Award given in recognition of exemplary leadership in advancing the post and parcel industry

June 9, 2021: In recognition of his long track record of success and innovation, Peter Somers, CEO of Emirates Post, was recently announced as the winner of the Industry Leadership Award during the World Post & Parcel Awards 2021.The virtual event celebrated the success of the post and parcel sector and acknowledged the contribution of industry leaders from all around the world. Somers received the coveted award for his exemplary leadership in advancing the national and international mail, parcels, and express industry.

Upon accepting the award, Somers said: "I am honored to receive this recognition from the World Post & Parcels Awards 2021 committee. My successful journey and modest contribution to the industry is attributed to the continuous support I have received throughout my career from my board members, my shareholders, and the dedicated efforts of everyone in my team. Somers was also recognized for his current role as CEO of Emirates Post, bringing his profound knowledge to support the company’s ongoing business transformation.
