Dubai Government Workshop signs MoU with Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club & Dubai Racing Club to provide top vehicle maintenance services

As part of DGW’s efforts to partner with Dubai and UAE’s private and public sectors
UAE, 29 May 2021: Dubai Government Workshop (DGW) recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Dubai Polo & Equestrian Club & Dubai Racing Club to provide the two clubs with vehicle repair and maintenance services. The agreement was signed by H.E. Fahad Ahmed Al-Raeesi CEO of DGW; H.E. Lt. Col. Mohammad Essa Al Adhab, Director General of Dubai Equestrian Club; and members of the Board of Directors of Dubai Racing Club.
H.E. Al-Raeesi said that the new agreement falls within the framework of the workshop’s commitment to strengthening cooperation and coordination frameworks with various governmental, semi-governmental and private entities in Dubai and the UAE. He stressed DGW’s continuous efforts to exchange experiences and work to achieve common aspirations.
“Through our agreement with Dubai Equestrian Club and Dubai Racing Club, we will extend not only top-notch car repair and maintenance support but also our solutions in the areas of vehicle insurance and registration. We will provide spare parts at competitive prices to achieve savings in public funds. We are pleased to collaborate with the two clubs, as this move supports our endeavors to continuously expand our partnerships. We also believe that all stakeholders will benefit from this latest partnership, which will further enhance our capabilities to extend relevant support and assistance. Through this initiative, we will further achieve excellence in vehicle repairs and maintenance using the latest technological innovations and apply the highest quality and safety standards. All these are in line with the directives of the Dubai Government,”
For his part, H.E. Lt. Col. Al Adhab, said: “We are pleased to forge a strong strategic partnership with DGW, an organization with proven record of providing premium vehicle repair and maintenance services according to the highest international standards. This collaboration is an important addition to our efforts to ensure quality vehicle repairs and maintenance at Dubai Equestrian Club and Dubai Racing Club. We will capitalize on DGW’s leading expertise and services delivered by its highly qualified teams to fulfill this objective. We look forward to consolidating our efforts to serve our common aspirations. Furthermore, we are confident that DGW’s services, expertise and capabilities will effectively contribute to our initiatives to promote an environment that supports the development of equestrian sport, a vital component of our national heritage and identity.”
As per the MoU, DGW will also handle all procedures concerning the registration and licensing of vehicles owned by Dubai Equestrian Club and Dubai Racing Club. Additionally, it will provide insurance services at highly competitive rates. DGW is committed as well to selling the clubs’ vehicles upon their request and according to their own procedures and preferred sale channels.
