Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 6 October 2020: His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority(DHA) received His Excellency Andreas Wegner, Deputy Consul General of Germany in Dubai at the DHA headquarters.
The meeting was attended by Dr Issa Salim, Consultant and Head of the Department of Bioresonance at Rashid Hospital.
Al Qutami highlighted that the German healthcare model is well-recognized globally and that Germany has created its mark across various fields in healthcare from medical services to technology.
Al Qutami added that DHA has collaboration initiatives with several renowned German healthcare institutions and that the Authority is keen to further strengthen and bolster ties with an aim to exchange expertise and facilitate knowledge transfer.
He highlighted that a significant number of medical professionals at the DHA have completed their medical studies from some of the oldest and most renowned medical institutes in Germany and that DHA deeply values this relationship.
H.E. Wegner highlighted that UAE has achieved tremendous progress across all fields including the health sector. He discussed ways to further bolster cooperation in the medical field to promote knowledge transfer and expertise.
