Last Update: Monday, July 20, 2020 : 07:49 (+4GMT)
July 19, 2020: The Hope Probe project is a historic milestone in the UAE’s quest for knowledge and innovation, and the preparations for the launch of the Emirati project to explore Mars embody the aspirations of our late founding father Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan, who wanted our country to make its mark in the area of space research with the help of determined and highly qualified Emirati engineers and scientists. Today, the UAE is moving forward with confidence and steadfastness to be one of the most advanced countries in the world, backed by the insightful vision of our wise leadership, which continues to anticipate and build the future by harnessing the capabilities of Emirati youth, who are proving once again that they are the country’s most valuable asset, who are capable of elevating the UAE’s position in international forums.
We are upbeat, optimistic, and are immensely proud of the Hope Probe mission, which shows to the world our ability to make significant strides in space research, led by promising young minds that have successfully transformed this project from a dream to reality. The first Arab probe to Mars lays solid foundation to support preparations for the next 50 years, during which, we are set to enter a new era of progress and development, inspired by the wisdom and values instilled in us by the UAE’s founding rulers. We are proud of our nation’s scientific, cognitive and academic qualifications that are capable of making it an influential force in space research, thereby adding such new milestones to the UAE's record of outstanding accomplishments in the field of scientific research and innovation.
