Free Telemedicine Services for Children of Determination at Zulekha Hospital

Dubai, UAE, and 28 April 2020:   On the auspicious occasion of Ramadan, Zulekha Hospital has stepped forward to offer their newly launched telemedicine services absolutely free for the Children of Determination during the month of Ramadan. The hospital has launched telemedicine services in the wake of the covid19 lockdown that is implemented across countries to prevent the spread of the disease.

Expressing appreciation for the Children of Determination Co-Chairperson Zanubia Shams said, “Every year, we recognize these special children over an iftar gathering along with their families. However, this year since we could not meet them in person, we want to extend this gift of easy access to our specialists who are available anytime to attend to their medical needs. We will take time to speak and answer queries from parents of the Children of Determination.”

Appointments can be taken by registering on the telemedicine website of the hospital. Making it further convenient for the families any medicines prescribed can be delivered to their homes by the hospital pharmacy. The hospital works closely with schools for the Children of Determination in ensuring their timely inclusion, engagement and appreciation through various activities.
