Al-Futtaim Toyota announces the winner of RAV4 Hybrid from its aftersales Electronic Vehicle Health Check competition
Last Update: Sunday, December 15, 2019 : 14:28 (+4GMT)
Dubai, UAE, December 15, 2019: It’s been more than a decade since Al-Futtaim Toyota, leader in sustainable motoring in the UAE, pioneered Hybrid Electric Vehicles (HEV) in the Emirates, when the first Camry HEVs reached the country’s shores in 2008. Since that first step into the future of transportation, Al-Futtaim Toyota’s commitment to environmental conservation has remained a top priority, with thousands of HEVs finding new homes across the nation, saving thousands of tons of harmful CO2 emissions and helping make UAE Vision 2021’s environmental targets a reality.
What began as a small fleet of Camry HEV taxis in 2008 is now a fully-fledged HEV line-up of four models including Camry, RAV4, Corolla and Prius.
Today, another eco-friendly car will join the UAE’s roads as Al-Futtaim Toyota awards the winner of its Electronic Vehicle Health Check competition, an aftersales campaign that offered one lucky customer the chance to drive off in a Hybrid Vehicle of their choice. Sheeja Shaji is the lucky recipient of the new RAV4 hybrid, selected from a pool of over 100,000 entrants.
Commenting on the announcement, Percy Fick, Head of Aftersales, Al-Futtaim Toyota, said: “As part of our ongoing efforts towards complete customer satisfaction, we have introduced our Toyota Electronic Vehicle Health Check programme across all our service centres in the UAE; a paperless, customer-centric platform which allows us to provide customers with a timely update on their service or repair request, as well as detailed and transparent estimates on maintenance and repair costs. This significantly reduces lead time on approval and vehicle delivery, whilst enhancing the overall customer experience. Congratulations to the winner and we hope she enjoys her new RAV4 experience.”
Customers can visit any one of the 12 conveniently located aftersales facilities where a team of Toyota experts will ensure their vehicle is properly looked after. Customers can also take advantage of the special discount offers on service and maintenance and long-term service plans.
