Modern IKEA Majlis hospitality in Toyota showrooms
Customers can enjoy special IKEA Ramadan collections made in collaboration with the Jordan River Foundation and Jordanian and refugee women artisans
Dubai, UAE, May 21 2019: During the holy month, Al-Futtaim Toyota is bringing a new level of hospitality to its customers through a first-of-its-kind collaboration with IKEA, allowing visitors the opportunity to experience and order IKEA’s Ramadan limited collection while visiting the Toyota showrooms.
As part of the collaboration, IKEA has installed special majlises at the Sheikh Zayed Road, Abu Dhabi Airport Road, Sharjah and Fujairah Toyota showrooms, allowing customers to experience the Swedish brand’s latest line-up as well as TILLTALANDE, a special collection of precious, hand-crafted textiles made in collaboration with Jordan River Foundation and Jordanian and refugee women artisans. TILLTALANDE is part of an initiative to empower women in the region and integrate them into work and society.
Saud Abbasi, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim Toyota, commented: “At Toyota, we are focused on providing the best-in-town experience for every customer that interacts with us. We are delighted to be able to provide them the opportunity to enjoy Ramadan this year through an unconventional set-up by IKEA, ensuring comfortable spaces and hospitality when they visit our showrooms to browse our latest cars and exciting Ramadan offer. We encourage everyone to come down and try it out for themselves.”
Vinod Jayan, Managing Director, Al-Futtaim IKEA said, “Through this partnership, we are bringing IKEA closer to the hearts and minds not only of visitors to Al-Futtaim Toyota showrooms, but also IKEA fans who live in communities where IKEA is not yet present. Instead of driving for long distances to visit our showrooms, now we are bringing IKEA closer to where they live, through our presence in key Toyota branches.”
Beside the Ramadan special collection, the Majlises feature KUNGSHAMN, a sofa series consisting of modules that can be used freestanding or together to create a sofa that suits you and your home, the BURVIK side table that is easy to lift so that you can rearrange your living space whenever you feel like and the handmade MELHOLT rug which is unique because the dark wool is randomly woven into the jute.
Customers can take advantage of the Ramadan offers from Toyota which is more rewarding than ever before with a 10% down payment taken care of by Al-Futtaim Toyota, in addition to up to AED 10,000 cashback rewards which can be redeemed for holiday trips and shopping from some of the UAE’s most popular stores, including but not limited to IKEA and Al-Futtaim ACE.
Starting from just AED 1,150 per month customers can get the new seven-seater Toyota Rush that offers remarkable value for money. Meanwhile, the family Sedan champion 2019 Toyota Camry is available from just AED 2,050 per month. Finally, for those who seek to rule the concrete jungle and the dunes, there is the legendary 2019 Land Cruiser, which can be driven away from as little as AED 3,950 per month. Customers can also trade in their current vehicles at better-than-market prices.
