Dubai Islamic Bank triumphs at Islamic Business and Finance Awards 2018

Dubai, UAE, 09 December 2018:   Dubai Islamic Bank (DIB), the largest Islamic Bank in the UAE, has once again dominated the Islamic Business and Finance Awards, collecting five major accolades at the prestigious industry event. The awards distinguish and endorse institutions and individuals who have played a key role in nurturing the growth and expansion of the Islamic financial sector around the globe.

 

The accolades bestowed on the bank included Best Islamic Bank, Best Islamic Retail Bank, Best Islamic Corporate Bank, Best Islamic Home Finance, and Best Sukuk Arranger in the region. In addition to this, the Group CEO of DIB, Dr. Adnan Chilwan, was honored with the prestigious award of Islamic Banker of the Year for his outstanding contributions towards DIB’s growth, and his remarkable role in fostering advancements in the Islamic finance industry.

The 13th edition of the Islamic Banking and Finance Awards took place last week at the Jumeirah Emirates Towers Hotel in the heart of the Dubai Financial Center, and brought together the region’s most prominent Islamic bankers, industry leaders, experts and investors– over 500 attendees from around the world gathered to celebrate the awardees.
