UAE National Team Girls and du LaLiga HPC Girls Neck to Neck in the Dubai Sports Council Academies Championship

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 27 November 2018 – Week 6 in the Dubai Sports Council Academies Championship saw the Girls U18 UAE National Team A maintaining their sport at the top of the League table after beating FC Just Play 4-0, while du LaLiga HPC Girls U18 beat the UAE National Team B 3-1, with all games played at Dubai Sports City.
Over at Shabab Al Ahli stadium, in the Boys U18 category, City FC Academy beat AS Roma Academy 4-1, while Al Nujoom Academy beat Allianz Academy 4-0.
In the Boys U16 category, LaLiga Academy beat Talented Academy 3-1, while du LaLiga HPC beat Shabab Al Ahli 2-0 to maintain their lead at the top of the League table with 16 points. Spanish SS Iniesta fought a hard match to beat The Foxes 2-1.
In the Boys U14 category, City FC Red maintained its spot at the top of the League table this week despite their loss against LaLiga Sevilla 0-2, while SS Iniesta beat Kafo Academy 5-1.
Spanish SS Iniesta maintained their position at the top of the League table in both the Boys U10 and U12 categories.
The Dubai Sports Council Academies Championship is the largest tournament of its kind, expanded this year to include 100 teams and 2300 players from private and local club academies. The tournament is played at Al Wasl Shabab Al Ahli and Dubai Sports City Stadiums and runs from October 20, 2018 to April 27, 2019.
