Dubai, UAE, November 22, 2018: Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation (PCFC) participated in the 8th Smart City Expo World Congress in Barcelona from 13 to 15 November as part of Smart Dubai stand which included 11 government and semi-government departments.
HE Mohammed Al Shamsi, Consul General of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) in Barcelona visited the stand and listened to a presentation from Khalil Saqer bin Gharib, Director of Corporate Communication Department at Dubai Customs about PCFC's role in turning Dubai into the happiest and smartest city on earth.
PCFC takes part under the Smart Dubai umbrella along with other government departments to share its vision and showcase its most distinctive innovations which will help make Dubai a better place to live and invest in.
At the end of the visit HE the Consul honored PCFC for their successful participation in the international Congress, in the presence of Dr Aisha Bint Buti Bin Bisher, Director General of the Smart Dubai Office.
