“As the nation gears up to celebrate the 4th Emirati Women's Day honoring the contributions of the nation's women and their active roles in the development and progress of the country, we are glad to observe that the empowerment of women across all professional and technical sectors has become very much a reality today, allowing them to continue their success with confidence and pride. The relentless support and guidance of the wise leadership have helped Emirati women soar to new heights with their accomplishments in various fields including energy efficiency, completely on par with men. Gender disparity has become a thing of the past in the UAE and Emirati women have proved their mettle in driving the country’s sustainable development. The UAE is recognized as a pioneer in the field of sustainability and today, the Emirati women play a progressive role in this field, marked by a solid international presence. Etihad ESCO is firmly committed to providing opportunities to women by providing them with a platform to further develop and advance their skill sets and expertise. This year, under the theme ‘Women on the Course of Zayed,’ we are glad to join the rest of the nation in celebrating the spirit of Emirati women.
