The Maison Chaumet opens an exclusive pop-up at The Dubai Mall

Dubai, UAE, July 18, 2018:  Chaumet officially launches a pop-up store at The Dubai Mall, making a statement with an innovative concept during the French Jeweller’s flagship renovation period. The Maison’s jewellery and watches collections from Liens, Jardins and Joséphine will be available at the pop-up from July until September 2018. 

The exclusive Pop-Up design is a hint to the Maison’s upcoming architectural concept, showcasing its new brand identity and identifiable codes. The concept is in perfect harmony with the Parisian jeweller’s image of elegance and excellence, portraying a Chaumet of the past, present and future. 

As the history of Chaumet has been entwined with the History of France ever since its founding in 1780, in Paris. The High Jewellery savoir-faire of the Maison has been passed down through generations of jewellers for 238 years. Crafted at the very heart of the place Vendôme, the jewellery and watchmaking creations reflect these exceptional skills and pay tribute to the Parisian style.

The Chaumet Dubai Mall flagship store is scheduled to re-open in September 2018. A creative hoarding covering the flagship during the renovation highlights fifteen key glorious periods from the coronation of Empress Josephine to the modern-day creations and all moments in between. 

Liens  

The ties of love, of family, of friendship. Both unique and multiple, the Liens by Chaumet are metaphors of union and commitment, the precious symbols of a special date, an emotion or a magical moment. Jardins:

Chaumet created an imaginary garden of subtly mastered botanical inspiration, in celebration of flowers. From corolla to stamen, Chaumet explores each facet of flora & fauna with boldly graphic lines to offer an unbridled interpretation of variations of petals. Stylized, open-worked, sculpted to follow a movement which combines strength and exquisite refinement, the pieces, notably the renowned hydrangea, asserts the Maison’s naturalistic style to transform into a collection of jewellery designed to create emotions. The jardins collection blooms in unique pieces that brilliantly demonstrate Chaumet’s perfect mastery of the jeweller’s art.

Joséphine:

As a tribute to its first muse, Empress Joséphine, Chaumet is celebrating the power of love. It was for Josephine, who was crowned Empress on 2 December 1804, that Chaumet designed fashionable and romantic bejeweled headwear, gifts from the Emperor Napoleon I to his lucky star. Chaumet is now dedicating its new jewelry collection to Joséphine, a modern, free-thinking, daring woman. The Joséphine collection revisits the tiara and reinvented as rings. Pieces that declare love and promises commitment, sealed by a pear-cut diamond.
