Access World Logistics Opens Facility at Jafza with AED 40 Million Investments

Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 14 May 2018: 

Access World Logistics L.L.C. – a joint venture between RHS Group, Dubai and Switzerland-based Access World, inaugurated a state-of-the-art 3rd party logistics & warehousing facility on Wednesday, 09 May 2018 in the Jebel Ali Free Zone. The facility, with a storage capacity in excess of 100,000 freight tons of multiple products, has a 15,200 m2 covered warehouse with Very Narrow Aisle (VNA) racking systems as well as bulk-stowage space, and air-conditioned (220C’) as well as ambient-temperature warehousing space, plus an open-storage yard of about 7,500 m2. The fast-track project was completed in less than 10 months from the ground-breaking, which was held in July 2017. The logistics company is also in the process of commissioning a 1 MWp roof-top PV Panel system to meet most of its power requirements through solar energy.
 
The event was attended by dignitaries from DP World, Dubai Customs, the London Metal Exchange, Commercial Bank of Dubai, clients, key members from the logistics fraternity, contractors, consultants, service providers, as well as senior management of Access World & RHS Group. Following the customary ribbon-cutting, the 120 odd guests toured the facility, built over a 40,000 m2 plot, with a total investment of about AED40 million.
 
The welcome address was delivered by Mr Peter M. Waszkis – CEO, Access World, following which, a felicitation ceremony was held to honour DP World, Dubai Customs, the LME and project engineers/supervisors who managed the high quality and incident-free project.
