ADNEC's Internet Excellence Program ‘The Capital Awards' to further adopt excellence as a culture

The Abu Dhabi National Exhibitions Company (ADNEC) has announced the launch of the second edition of its ‘Internal Excellence Program – The Capital Awards,’ an ideal and strategic platform designed to help encourage its employees to adopt principles and concepts of excellence while also creating an environment that seeks to promote innovation in support of the development and growth of the company.

The latest edition of the award reflects Abu Dhabi Award’s Excellence model, which can be seen across its different categories comprising the Ideal Department category, the Distinguished Department category at the sub-standards level, the Distinguished Employee category (ADNEC Stars) and the Best Service category.

The evaluation process will be conducted by accredited external evaluators. The program will run through a series of phases for preparation and organization starting from March till the end of June 2018. The applications will be open during July and August, while the evaluation stage will be taking place in September and October. Winners will be announced in December 2018.

Al Dhaheri shared that the ‘The Capital Awards’ fall under the framework of the Abu Dhabi Award for Excellence in Government Performance (ADAEP) in applying best practices aimed at inspiring and encouraging government entities to improve their performance, standards and guidelines at work across their internal sectors and to promote a culture of excellence in Abu Dhabi's tourism segment--fully complying with the best practices and international standards of the global tourism industry.
