Dubai, UAE, March 22, 2018: Industrial refrigeration specialist company Al Furat has announced the setting up of a unit to build a wide range of vehicle bodies.
The new unit, being developed as part of the business diversification of the thirty-year-old company, will help build trailers, semi-trailers, curtain side semi-trailers, low bed trailers, municipal utility equipment and tipping bodies.
The new unit is being built with an initial investment of AED 20 million.
The Umm al-Quwain headquartered Al Furat Refrigeration and Thermal Insulation Industry was established in 1988 to cater to the growing demands of industrial refrigeration services in the UAE.
With over 35 per cent of the market share in its segment, Al Furat is today the most preferred service provider in the UAE and beyond.
“Our success stories are fundamentally connected to our qualified team, and willingness to accept new challenges in the form of diversification as well as taking the road less travelled.
One of our main objectives is to make growing contributions to the economy of the nation,” said K C Varughese, Al Furat Refrigeration and Thermal Insulation Industry.
Group Administrator Ms. Teeja Pribu John and Director Mr. Pribu John are confident in the success of the new venture, especially with Expo 2020 just around the corner.
“The future seems bright.
We are thankful to our employees who have been with us through thick and thin, and most importantly to the Government of UAE, for providing us such an opportunity and necessary backing”, said Pribu John.
Teeja Pribu John, who is also the daughter of Mr. Varughese, said, "True Leaders are made, not born.
I have had the opportunity to grow up in the U.A.E, live in this culture and learn from my father.
Now it is my turn to give back to the community and celebrate the Year of Zayed".
