Al Qutami: Dubai has established itself as a main center in the pharmaceutical market in the region.

Dubai, UAE, December 17, 2017:  H.E. Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of Dubai Health Authority, confirmed that Dubai is an essential and influential player in the pharmaceutical sector and that it has established itself as a main Centre for the pharmaceutical sector in the region.

Al Qutami said that DHA is focused on further development and strengthening of this vital field of medicine and that the Authority pays significant importance to the development of import, distribution and storage systems of medicines and that it works with local and global partners.

Al Qatami confirmed that DHA is keen on fostering pharmacological research and development in the Emirate. 

Al Qutami was speaking during a ceremony organized by the Authority to honour the departments and employees that support the pharmaceutical services at the DHA. The Authority also felicitated external strategic partners.

H.E. Al Qutami felicitated distinguished candidates and thanked them for their contribution in the field of pharmacy. He highlighted the importance of internal and external collaboration to ensure high quality of service delivery.

H.E. Al Qutami stressed that Dubai has succeeded in establishing itself as a main centre in the pharmaceutical market.
