RAK Chamber celebrates its Golden Jubilee this November

Ras Al Khaimah – UAE: 22 November 2017:  Under the patronage and presence of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry is organizing a celebration of its golden jubilee titled "Fifty Years of Achievements".

The event will be held at Ras Al Khaimah Exhibition Center on Saturday, 25th of November and attended by HE Mohamed Ali Musabah Al Nuami, Chairman of Board of Directors of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber, Heads of Board of Directors, Current and former members, a large number of government officials and private sector representatives.

A photo exhibition will be held on the sideline of the ceremony, to celebrate the Chamber’s history and its developments over five decades. The event will also include a number of activities highlighting the Chamber’s history and its tireless efforts since its establishment in 1967 by an Emiri decree issued by the late Sheikh Saqr bin Mohammad Al Qasimi, with the aim of organizing business in Ras Al Khaimah and support its economy.

HE Mohamed Al Nuaimi, chairman of Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry stated that, the celebration of the chamber’s 50th anniversary aims to renew the commitment of wise leadership to carry on and achieve Ras Al Khaimah’s economic vision. As well as establishing the status of the Chamber as a distinct and influential pioneer in serving the economy of Ras Al Khaimah and all of UAE, in accordance with the directives of His Highness Sheikh Saud Bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council, Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah and the follow up of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Crown Prince of Ras Al Khaimah.

HE Mohammed Hassan Al Sabab, Director General of RAK Chamber of Commerce and Industry said that the Chamber is looking forward to honoring a number of its strategic partners from the government and private sectors, businessmen and women in appreciation to their support and cooperation.

The event will be held at a time when the Chamber is continuing to develop its performance, improve the level of its services and facilitate the establishment of companies in the emirate. The chamber's top priorities are to represent, support and protect the interests of the business community, in order to enhance Ras Al Khaimah's position and leadership role at the national level and enhance the emirate's reputation as a leading regional and international trading hub.
