LEAP – The first career platform using AI launches in Dubai

The first career platform using artificial intelligence, LEAP, has set up its base in Dubai after securing 3 million AED in funding.

The team behind the conception of LEAP are experienced professionals from within the region – many of whom have a network of existing enterprises within the GCC. With 3 million AED in funding, LEAP has plans to expand quickly, on a global scale within its first year of operation.

LEAP – a new career platform – was developed due to an awareness that the majority of recruitment resources and processes were not only outdated, but incredibly time consuming. By using cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology, LEAP aims to alleviate these constraints by providing candidates and companies with an online career platform that is efficient, pioneering and provides useful resources throughout the recruitment cycle.

For candidates, LEAP provides a free job application resource. An interactive profile can be used to demonstrate skills, personality and experience. Candidates can view detailed information and rich media about companies in the region – including ‘behind the scenes’ videos - and also have access to career resources including coaching and informative articles. The scoring system matches a candidate’s suitability for each role, meaning that if they are a good fit – their CV will not become lost in a pile of all other applicants.

For clients, applicants are scored on their suitability for each job vacancy, meaning that time is not spent sifting through countless irrelevant or unsuitable applications. Company pages also offer the benefit of enhanced employer branding – LEAP’s media team will create company videos and corporate photography for company pages. This gives candidates a clear understanding of the company’s values from the moment they apply – helping to ensure that they are the right fit.
