Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 30 August, 2017:  A high-level DHA delegation headed by His Excellency Humaid Al Qutami, Chairman of the Board and Director-General of the Dubai Health Authority recently successfully concluded their official tour of the United States of America.

HE Al Qutami and his team met with officials from major innovative, medical solution and information technology companies. The DHA delegation visited technology companies in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Chicago. They also met with officials from successful hospital groups to discuss collaboration and cooperation in the health sector.

They signed a MoU with GE and the Columbia Heart Source to establish a state-of-the-art global health centre in Dubai.

Al Qutami was also received by Judy Faulkner, co-founder and chief executive of Epic Systems Corp at the EPIC headquarters. The two sides discussed the implementation of information technology in revolutionizing healthcare and future smart technologies that will benefit the health sector.
