Dubai Chamber to participate in 10th World Chambers Congress in Sydney

Dubai, UAE, July 24, 2017: The Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry has announced that it will be actively participating in the 10th World Chambers Congress which is being organised and hosted by the International Chamber of Commerce’s World Chambers Federation (WCF).
The Congress will take place September 19th-21st, 2017 in Sydney, Australia, with around 12,000 chambers of commerce from over 100 countries participating in the unique biennial event.
As a Platinum Sponsor of the Congress, Dubai Chamber will be representing the Dubai’s business community and showcasing the emirate’s potential as a preferred trade and investment hub to a global audience.
H.E. Buamim, stressed the importance of Dubai Chamber’s participation in the Congress and explained that the event is an ideal platform for the Chamber to showcase its world-class services, international activities, and capabilities as one of the world’s largest membership-based chambers of commerce.
“Our participation falls in line with the Chamber’s strategy of exploring new opportunities for our members and attracting global companies to Dubai. The Congress provides a fitting platform for us to share our perspective and experiences, and we look forward to collaborating with other prominent chambers of commerce in the world,” said H.E. Buamim who also holds the position of Deputy Chairman of the World Chambers Federation.
The 10th World Chambers Congress will be held under the theme “Where Business Connects”, and put spotlight on key trends and issues impacting chambers of commerce around the world, including global mobility, sustainability, and the Fourth Industrial Revolution, while it will also examine the changing role that chambers are playing toward government and society.
