Dubai, UAE – July 20 2017: Chef Tarek Ibrahim, the popular Arab celebrity chef, has hosted a fun-filled cooking masterclass at Spinneys in Dubai using Australia’s finest vegetables and beef.
The exclusive cooking demonstration was hosted as part of a unique partnership between Now! In Season, which is promoting the best of Australian seasonal fruit and vegetables in the UAE, Spinneys and Meat & Livestock Australia.
Working with Australian beef and the current Now! In Season vegetables of corn, celery, carrot and leek, Chef Tarek showed how to optimise Australia’s finest products to create tasty meals for the family.
“I loved hosting this cooking demonstration,” said Chef Tarek. “It was fun, and it was a great way for us to showcase the fantastic fresh vegetable produce and beef from Australia.
“Everyone who was here was excited about it, they tried everything and actually we ran out of food! People kept coming back for more, which is a great sign and an indication of the quality food on offer.”
Now! In Season Australia and Meat and Livestock Australia are introducing premium quality and nutritious Australian beef and vegetables to the UAE through a series of promotions at Spinneys this July.
Citrus and apples will also be available from August to October as part of the Now! In Season campaign, which is a strategic initiative developed in collaboration with government and industry.
