TAG Heuer Connected Watch Modular 45 Dubai Special Edition to enjoy a timely launch that coincides with Dubai Summer Surprises

After announcing its exciting collaboration with Dubai’s Department of Tourism & Commerce Marketing (Dubai Tourism) earlier this year, TAG Heuer is all set to release its timepiece that is the ultimate ode to Dubai. 

Dubai, UAE, July 10, 2017:  TAG Heuer has announced that it will be officially launching its much-anticipated Dubai Connected Watch Modular 45 on July 12 at an exclusive event to be hosted at the TAG Heuer Boutique on the ground floor of the Dubai Mall Souk Atrium from 4 pm to 6:30 pm. The event will be doubly special as it will be held in association with Dubai Summer Surprises 2017 (DSS) from 1 July -12 August.

The launch will not only serve as the perfect opportunity for guests to get a glimpse of the Special edition but also allow them to interact with TAG Heuer Middle East Brand Director Mr. Nicolas Pic, Mr. Mohammed Abdulmagied Seddiqi Chief Commercial Officer at Seddiqi & Sons and DTCM Executive Director of Retail and Strategic Alliances, Mr. Saeed Al Falasi. A dedicated media session will be organized from 4 pm to 4:30 pm. From 4:30 pm to 5:30 pm there will be a session for VIPS to officially launch the watch. Finally, as part of Dubai Summer Surprises, the boutique will re-open its door to the public for those interested in buying the Dubai Connected watch. They will enjoy a special offer between 5:30 pm and 6:30 pm. We will also have the special appearance of our friend of the brand Alex Hirschi @supercarblondie who will welcome the public, share her experience about the Connected Watch and the 24h of #DontCrackUnderPressure challenge she took part of in #mydubai but also sign dedicated merchandise for the occasion.

The watch is a living testimony to an encounter between TAG Heuer and Dubai Tourism and combines Swiss watchmaking tradition and the TAG Heuer Avant-Garde spirit with the modern aesthetic of Dubai. 200 pieces of this special Dubai Edition have been produced. Priced at AED 8,000, each watch comes with a special caseback and is mounted on a brown calfskin strap with rubber lining and an exclusive “DUBAI” embossing. It also has a spare strap in the unmistakable shade of blue associated with DUBAI. The watch faces, themselves, boast three innovative looks. The first option called “Dubai Classic” alludes to the fact that Dubai is a city that never sleeps, the second is titled “Dubai Paths” and recreates a sense of tranquility that takes users on a sensory voyage between land and sea and the third titled “Dubai Icons”, focuses on emblems that represent Dubai and its culture. The Dubai watch faces are already loaded on the Dubai Special Edition or available for download on the Google Play store.
