A Newcomer at deLaCour : The Reflect Chrono Skeleton

The Reflect case is a brand new creation on which the deLaCour creative team has been working on for quite some time. Combining a strong and timeless character, this watch is an incredible balance between modernity and tradition.

The inspiration behind this new shape is based on the design principles and know-how of deLaCour’s iconic elliptical case. Moreover, the watch displays the features that make the originality of the brand, namely the folded horns and the elongated silhouette of the case. This smaller new model upholds the brand's DNA. deLaCour preserves its iconic elliptical shape with smooth-edged angles, decorated with distinctive screws. The multifaceted case reflects the light on all the titanium surfaces. On the flanks, semi-circle appliques embellish the case.

A few months ago, delaCour launched a limited edition of 9 pieces under the Reflect Tourbillon collection. The Reflect Chrono Skeleton sustains the same avant-garde design in a titanium case. This skeleton chisels time. This timepiece is a main piece of the delaCour’s collections. The Reflect Chrono Skeleton will be produced in a limited edition of 33 pieces. Each side of the watch features a sapphire crystal glass thus entirely revealing the automatic winding movement.

In this formidable maze, the gears opt for refinement. The light patterns are most remarkable on this chronograph thanks to a multi-tiered architecture.

The openwork dial reveals the gears, the escapement and the balance. The structure of the Reflect Chrono Skeleton, transforms the material into a living mechanism and exposes each of its manufactured components. Three pierced
circles act as counter indicators:  At 12 o’clock the minute indicator, at 3 o'clock the date indicator and at 6 o'clock the hour indicator.

True to the spirit of the skeleton movement, the openwork hands are luminescent at their ends. The seconds- hand is red to facilitate reading during timing mode. The Reflect Chrono Skeleton is waterproof up to 5 ATM and is completed with a hand-stitched crocodile strap or a natural rubber strap. The Reflect Chrono Skeleton is a powerful expression at the service of an exceptional mechanism. Technical excellence and formidable designs are the signatures of delaCour.
