PCFC organizes its Ramadan Suhur gathering

Dubai – 15 June 2017:  The Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation held its Ramadan Suhur gathering to its staff in the presence of Sultan bin Sulayem, DP World Group Chairman & CEO and Chairman of Ports, Customs and Free Zone Corporation, and senior directors and heads of PCFC’s subsidiaries at Dubai World Trade Centre, Sheikh Maktoum Hall.

The gathering included a number of events including Taraweeh prayers, a lecture on positivity and self-development delivered by Mohammed Al Qahtani, the Toastmasters International World Champion of Public Speaking, and an Islamic lecture delivered by His Excellency Sheikh Sulaiman Al Jubailan, plus a number of entertaining activities. 

Bin Sulayem commented on the event:
“At the beginning I am pleased to congratulate President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai and their Highnesses Supreme Council Members and Rulers of the Emirates and to all people and residents of the UAE on the occasion of the Holy Month of Ramadan”. 

He added: “The Ramadan Suhur gathering is an annual occasion that we organize to spread that spirit of positive connection and solidarity amongst our staffs. The Holy Month of Ramadan is a month of spirituality, selflessness and giving. The UAE has always been in the forefront of charity and humanitarian initiative thanks to our wise leadership that always targets number one in all walks of life. We are inspired by the teachings and directives of President His Highness Sheikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan who taught us to make giving and help service a higher value and a daily practice, not only in the Year of Giving 2017, but in the future”.  

Bin Sulayem thanked the attendees and invited them to register at the national volunteer platform launched by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai.
