Ministry of Economy's Commercial Attaché office in Washington releases report featuring emerging companies in the UAE

Abu Dhabi, May 2, 2017: The Ministry of Economy's Commercial Attaché office in Washington, USA, has announced the release of a detailed report covering the growth of emerging companies in the UAE. The report, which was developed with the cooperation of the US - UAE Business Council, throws the spotlight on the opportunities, successes and attractions currently being offered in the UAE market--which includes attractive incentives, facilities and the most strategic places to invest in business. Also, featured in the report are success stories of companies established in the UAE that have managed to prove their mark in the global markets.

The report, which is entitled ‘The U.A.E.’s Startup Ecosystem and Opportunities for U.S. Investors,’ focuses on the promotion of the UAE as a regional hub for emerging economic projects and details resources and potential opportunities for US-based investors on how to establish their businesses in the country.

The report is divided into five key sections with the first section covering timely topics like the development of entrepreneurship in the UAE; emerging economic companies and e-commerce and digital technology. The second section provides a strategic review of the advantages of the business environment in the UAE and offers detailed explanations on 

current legislation and offered tax incentives, the facilities and infrastructure present in the country's freezones and investment priorities based on the innovation agenda featured in UAE Vision 2021.

Meanwhile, the third section is focused on explaining the support provided to emerging companies--the availability of innovation, business incubators, programs and institutions aimed at training and developing entrepreneurs. The fourth section covers the various sources of funding available in the country. The fifth and last section of the report talks about the opportunities available to US-based investors across various industry verticals and how to start establishing their businesses in the UAE market.
