ZonesCorp Launches the "Excellence Forum"

New initiative aims to host winners of the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award for those who received the Executive Council President Award in Government Performance
Abu Dhabi, UAE- 30th April 2017: ZonesCorp has launched the Excellence Forum, an initiative in coordination with the Office of the Abu Dhabi Award program for Excellence in Government Performance. The initiative will see ZonesCorp host the winners of the prestigious Abu Dhabi Awards for Excellence in Government Performance and share their professional experiences first hand with fellow government employees.
HE Saeed Eisa Al Khyeli, Director General of ZonesCorp commented: "This forum is the first of its kind for government agencies in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi in terms of building direct communication between the winners of the award and ZonesCorp. The initiative aims to shed light on the recipients, their achievements and the obstacles they overcame to win the award".
From his side Mr. Ahmed Al Hebsi, Section Head - Organization Excellence and Corporate Performance at ZonesCorp commented: "This is one of a number of initiatives we have started aimed at creating work environment that contributes to establishing a culture of excellence within the ZonesCorp family. The forum will draw on the experience of the winners in a range of areas and contribute to the skills, abilities and productivity of our employees. We believe that this in turn will allow us to provide our customers with high quality and innovative services".
In its first edition, the Excellence Forum initiative hosted Mr. Jassim Abdulrahman Al Ali, Director at the Department of Municipal Affairs and Transport, who received an award of the President of the Executive Council, commented: "The concept of excellence in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi is an integrated institutional system that is sponsored and supported by our excellent leadership, to create the right environment that discovers outstanding talents and encourages them to achieve their goals, whether personal or professional.” Mr. Ali also pointed out that the achievements both personal and professional can only be realised with ambition, and access to a culture that promotes initiative and creativity, and above all, the will to overcome challenges".
Al Ali added: "ZonesCorp has taken a unique step by bringing together government employees in one place to support the achievement of excellence in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi. Government initiatives such as these are the gateway to a prosperous future and realizing the vision of Abu Dhabi 2030.”
The Excellence Forum initiative will be held once a month for the duration of the Abu Dhabi Excellence Award in Government Performance. The initiative will see ZonesCorp employees and other government entities as well as coordinators of the award participating in the forum. The forum aims to motivate employees to participate in the award, improve their performance through live discussions, promote activate cooperation and constructive partnership between various government agencies and to raise the level of performance of employees through the exchange of practical experience throughout the Emirate of Abu Dhabi.
