Infrastructure, themeparks and retail sectors will propel the printing industry in 2017

Signtrade, AGFA Graphics, Canon Middle East, Flex-Europa and a host of big brands will be at SGI Dubai 2017, the largest show for print and signage industries
Dubai, UAE, December 18th, 2016: According to International Expo Consults (IEC), in 2017, Infrastructure, retail, tourism and amusement industry sectors, will propel the growth of the printing and signage industry in the UAE and other GCC countries. IEC is the organiser SGI Dubai, the largest printing and signage industry trade show in the Middle East and Africa region.
Mr. Abdul Rahman Falaknaz, Chairman of IEC said, “Every industry today needs to communicate with their target audience and printing and signage industry plays a significant role in this whole process. The growth witnessed in other sectors will definitely support the printing and signage industry as well in 2017. Exhibitors at SGI Dubai in the previous editions have also witnessed a rapid growth surge in ‘Sign and Graphic’ industry sector in the region and have continued their patronage with the show.
Talking about SGI Dubai 2017, Ayman Aly, Professional Solutions Marketing Manager, Canon Middle East & Canon Central and North Africa, stated, “Canon as always endeavours to exhibit different kind of wide format technology from inkjet, memjet, crystal point, UV amongst others. The event is a well-established business forum, which is recognised globally and constitutes workshops and seminars held by industry experts.
The 20th edition of SGI Dubai is expected to receive thousands of visitors from different countries and they are set to witness the industry’s latest products and trends. The SGI Dubai 2017 show would be held from January 15th to 17th 2017 at the halls 4, 5, 6, 7 and 8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
