Experts at Aster discuss musculoskeletal disorders in children and recent advances in treatment of Gynaecological conditions in women during an International CME

Aster DM Healthcare hosted an International CME to explore new horizons in Pediatric and Gynecology medicine. The International CME, saw participation of international experts along with leading specialist paediatricians and gynaecologists from within Aster network.
Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 10 December, 2016: With an aim to uncover areas of concern and new treatment techniques in paediatric and gynaecology medicine, Aster DM Healthcare recently organized the fifth edition of Synerge International Medical Conference titled ‘Exploring New Horizons in Paediatric and Gynaecology Medicine’. The one day conference saw the participation of specialists from Aster MIMS, Aster Medcity, Aster Clinics, Aster Hospital and Aster IVF & Women Clinic. Dr. Azad Moopen, Chairman and Managing Director of Aster DM Healthcare said “At Aster DM Healthcare we consider it our responsibility to constantly raise the standards of excellence in medical care through the continued evolution of our healthcare services. With this year’s international CME we aim to improve discussion on technological, procedural and diagnostic advancements in the fields of Gynaecology and Paediatrics.”

Dubai Health Authority (DHA) accredited the conference with 5.75 (Continuing Medical Education) CME points. Paediatric and Gynaecological experts discussed various topics, namely; Micro-nutrients in pediatrics with special focus on Vitamin D, seizure mimics and musculoskeletal disorders in children. Obstetrics and Gynecology experts discussed topics including urological disorders in men, multiple pregnancy, PCOS, fibroid, rare-cases encountered at Aster Hospital and endometriosis with special focus on IVF. Aster DM Healthcare aims to host multiple international CME’s every year in order to encourage collaboration between local, regional and international healthcare experts within the group.
