Sixth Annual YogaFest Middle East Returns this November

Dubai’s favourite festival for all things yoga and wellness is back with a bang

Dubai, UAE, November 9, 2016:  The Middle East’s favourite yoga festival YogaFest ME is back in Dubai this November 18 and 19, 2016. Taking place on the pastures of the Dubai Internet City Amphitheatre, the 6th annual event will see more than 5,000 seasoned and amateur yogis alike from around the region coming together to explore yoga, wellness and sustainability.  

Highlights include everything from yoga to Pilates, dance, qi gong and meditation. Those interested in learning can participate in talks and workshops such as healthy living, nutrition and yoga philosophy. 

“With something for everyone, festival goers can choose from over 150 classes and workshops by local and international teachers, as well as engage in lectures, concerts, shopping and so much more,” says festival founder and organiser Elaine Kelly. 

Families can also enjoy the festival in the dedicated Family Tent, with kids’ yoga classes as well as prenatal yoga, mother and daughter yoga, family yoga, and partner yoga among others.  

At the heart of the festival is dedication to sustainability. Attendees can shop unique products from a range of eco-friendly vendors – so if yoga leggings made from recycled plastic or homemade aromatherapy sprays are up your street then you’ll feel right at home.  

Another fundamental element of YogaFest ME is its commitment to contributing to those in need. Every year, the festival uses entry-based donations to raise funds for non-profit organisations supporting vulnerable children. YogaFest is donation-based, and online registration to attend is required. Attendees are requested to confirm their attendance via the link on the main website.

The festival runs for two full days from 7am to 7pm. The two-day ticket allows you to access any class in our five tents. Spaces are on a first come first seated basis. Healthy food is available to purchase in the food court.
