UAE, October 19, 2016 - Alpha Data, the UAE's leading systems integrator and one of the longest-standing IT companies in the country, will feature advanced solutions for empowering its customers to thrive in a ‘smart' future during GITEX Technology Week 2016, the latest edition of the largest technology exchange and marketplace for the Middle East and Africa taking place from October 16 to 20, 2016 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The company is participating in the event with two of the world's technology leaders - HP and Microsoft.

Alpha Data will demonstrate its End-User Computing (EUC) solution based on Hewlett Packard Enterprise's Hyper Converged (HC) 380 all-in-one virtualization system – dubbed a ‘Virtual Machine Vending Machine' – alongside HP company Aruba's next-generation network offerings at HP's GITEX stand to help businesses kick-start their IT transformation.

At the Microsoft stand, Alpha Data will showcase its Banking, Financial Services security as well as Enterprise IT with Microsoft Cloud solutions. The systems will harness the capabilities of Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Azure, and Surface Pro 4.

Amar Singh, Sales Director at Alpha Data, said: “The Middle East is heading towards a ‘smart' future where many critical activities and transactions will be done at the mere click of a button or tap of a screen. We at Alpha Data are constantly working on solutions that empower our customers with cutting-edge technology integrating best-in-class systems from our elite partners such as Microsoft and HP. As a premier and highly popular technology platform, GITEX enables us to share our solutions with regional and global audiences who are eager to maintain productivity, competitiveness and relevance in an increasingly ‘smart' world.”

During GITEX Technology Week 2016, Alpha Data will share its plans for addressing four areas it believes will significantly impact the region's information and communication technology sector over the next two years, namely the Internet of Things, Security, Mobility and the Cloud.
