Dubai, UAE, October 4, 2016: Silkor, the region’s leading chain of laser hair removal, cosmetic & plastic surgery and skin treatment services, has strengthened its partnership with Zeltiq to become the largest provider of the CoolSculpting® technology across the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region.
Established in Beirut, Lebanon in 1997, Silkor Laser Medical Center is an industry pioneer and is the region’s leading expert in aesthetic medicine. From a humble beginning with only three employees to more than 1000 staff today, Silkor has performed more than 6 million treatments across 30 branches in 7 countries.
Silkor’s line of treatments has expanded to now contain a broad portfolio of more than 50 luxury services including: Laser Treatments, Medico-Aesthetic Services, Cosmetic and Plastic Surgeries, Facial Skin Therapies and Slimming Treatments.
Silkor® has a number of ambitious expansion plans in the works, both internationally and locally. Most notably, Silkor aims to have not less than 62 Silkor® clinics operational in the region by 2020 and will later this year be opening their first cosmetic and plastic surgery hospital in Downtown Dubai.
Silkor’s mantra, ‘we want to change lives forever’, is more relevant now than ever, as women and men look for, and expect, new and quick ways to feel better about their physical appearance.
‘Silkor® is an extremely trusted name across the region, with an average customer satisfaction score of 4.6 out of 5. We strive to stay ahead of industry norms, and are driven and passionate about providing our clientele with the best in aesthetic medicine and technology. Our clients look to us to support them on their journey to a healthier lifestyle. With this level of trust and satisfaction comes a responsibility to seek out the safest and most innovative and effective technology and to provide superior and unparalleled services; which is why our growing partnership with Zeltiq is so exciting,’ says Lara Tarakjian, Managing Director of Silkor®.
Oscar Tarakjian, CEO and Chairman of Silkor®, continues: ‘We recognize that in order to truly support our customers in their quest for quick body confidence results, partnerships with cutting edge technology providers is essential. That is why a big part of our focus has been centered on strengthening our partnerships with world leading technology suppliers such as Zeltiq®, whose CEO and President Mark Foley, shares our passion and dedication. I’m delighted to confirm that we’re now rolling out 30 units of CoolSculpting® by Zeltiq to slimming departments across all our centers, with some 20 more in the pipeline’.
CoolSculpting®, is the worlds #1 treatment for non-invasive fat reduction in areas that are often resistant to diet and exercise. CoolSculpting® is the only FDA approved procedure to use controlled cooling to safely and effectively eliminate fat with no downtime, by using their patented Cryolipolysis method.
CoolSculpting® focuses on specific body areas, targeting and killing fat cells by crystallizing (freezing) the cells, which are sensitive to extreme cold. The treated cells then die and are naturally eliminated by the body over time.
This non-evasive fat reduction procedure is now available across all Silkor centers in Lebanon, UAE, Qatar, Oman, KSA, Kuwait and Iraq.
