Smart Parking UAE successfully launched with the presence of UAE Government

For the 2nd year in a row, Smart Parking UAE was successfully launched at The JW Marriott Marquis, Dubai with a focus on design, optimisation and management of car parks and parking facilities in the UAE.
The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), Abu Dhabi Municipaility, Sharjah Municipality, the Department of Transport Abu Dhabi, Dubai Municipality, Majid Al Futtaim, AECOM, Arup, Perkins+Will, and Parsons attended Smart Parking UAE.
The first day of this conference featured 2 panel discussions on “the successful parking strategies and technologies for the UAE” and “the upcoming hospitality and leisure projects and the associated smart parking opportunities”, along with a large number of exciting presentations among which we can mention: “The evolution of the car park and future trends” by Renato Conde from Perkins+Will, and “Innovative parking solutions to improve capabilities and monetisation” by Andrew Rippon from Nexgen Group.
The response to this event was hugely positive as delegates and sponsors enjoyed the high quality of the speaker panel as well as the opportunities to network with the industry’s key decision makers. “Diversified knowledge and highly recommended” stated the Parking Manager at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA), “Very Relevant group of speakers, informative and insightful” said a Senior Transport Planner at Parsons.
Smart Parking UAE was held with the participation of Park Assist, Nedap, Bosch, EkinnoLab, and Smart City Robotics.
Smart Parking UAE – Day 2 will host speakers from Surface Mobility Consultants, Aecom, Parsons, Al Suweidi Engineering Consultants, Alpin Limited, and BK Gulf, and will be discussing the structure and design of a parking facility, and sustainability in parking. Including a panel discussion and a case study.
