Dubai, UAE – 21 September, 2016 - Dabur International has debuted in the black hair gel category in the Middle East with the launch of Vatika Mega Hold Black Styling Gel for men. The new black gel’s male-oriented colour makes it unique from regular gels available in the market in various other colours, including red and pink. It is the first of its kind black gel in the region. The Mega Hold variant is enriched with natural herbs that not only nourish hair but also provide extreme hold for a gravity-defying hair style that remains intact all through the day.
Vatika Mega Hold Black Styling Gel is formulated with extracts of blackberry, cactus and black seed, also known in the Arab World as ‘Habbatul Barakhah – the ‘Seed of Blessing.’ Blackberry, is known to strengthen and moisturise hair. Cactus, on the other hand, revitalises hair to give it shine. Lastly, black seed nourishes scalp and rejuvenates dull hair to provide strength and shine.
Vivek Dhir, CMO, Dabur International, said: “Keeping up with its legacy of introducing pioneering natural based personal care products, Dabur International has launched the first black hair gel in the Middle East. Vatika Mega Hold Black Styling Gel is particularly formulated for modern, urban and energetic youth who will associate with its black masculine colour which is a refreshing change from the red and pink men’s hair gels widely available in the market. Moreover, the gel is enriched with fortifying, natural herbs that help keep your hair styled up in spikes or any other funky hair style all day long while providing nourishing care.”
Vatika Mega Hold Black Styling Gel is available in two attractive packaging. While the 250 ml jar gives hold strength of 12, the 150 ml tube has a hold strength of 18.
Dabur International, a wholly owned subsidiary of Dabur India, has an overall turnover of more than USD 1.3 billion and a market capitalization of around USD 8 billion.
