Sharjah gets world-class veterinary laboratory

MenaVet to offer sophisticated testing facilities to animal breeders and zoos under one roof

Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, September 18, 2016: 
A state-of-the-art veterinary laboratory dedicated to animals testing is now open for business in Sharjah.

MenaLabs Management FZ LLC, a division of CERBA Healthcare, announced today that their venture named MenaLabs Veterinary Laborary (MenaVet), is now fully functional. MenaVet, hosted within the Sharjah Equine Hospital, offers 24/7 veterinary laboratory testing services to breeders, stables in remote locations, zoos and to private customers. Dedicated preventive care programs to ensure the wellness of animal patients will be launched over time. 

MenaVet  capitalises on CerbaVet, the veterinary branch of CERBA HealthCare based in southern Paris, to provide state-of-the-art veterinary testing with several patented innovative assays in their portfolio. MenaVet also provides a comprehensive set of services with unmatched scientific and clinical support. 

The facility meets all physical and operational practices for bio-safety and all bio-containment requirements of a top-quality level-two laboratory. A quality-control system also ensures the safety of staff and the accuracy and traceability of test results.
