Influx of visitors over Eid given live performances of The Spark! and free access to new OSN Nickelodeon Playpark
Dubai, UAE, September 8, 2016: Dubai Festival City (DFC) is preparing to give visitors free access to a series of new family entertainment pop-ups and shows this September. Launching this Eid, DFC is bringing the OSN Nickelodeon Playpark to Dubai for the first time ever, where visitors can take part in a range of exciting interactive experiences inspired by the Nickelodeon HD and Nick Jr. TV Channels until the 26th September. Visitors will also get the chance to enjoy The Spark! a live street theatre show performed throughout the day from the 8th to the 17th September.
Set in the mall atrium, Festival Square, the OSN Nickelodeon Playpark, will give young visitors a chance to experience their favourite shows including Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Sponge Bob Paw Patrol and Shimmer & Shine. The playpark will delight kids with a range of fun, interactive activities - from touring a play fort inspired by the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to browsing jewelry crafting stations. Children and ‘big kids’ of all ages can use the iPad station to explore the Emmy award-wining Nickelodeon App.
Kick starting the fun this Eid holiday, The Spark! which combines high impact drumming, dynamic choreography and beautiful lighting designs, is set to delight its audience with an immersive performance throughout the mall.
“During the Eid celebrations, we are expecting a huge number of people to not only visit Dubai from the Gulf, but also ‘staycation’ and enjoy what is on offer at home” said Steven Cleaver, Director – Shopping Malls, Al-Futtaim Group Real Estate.
