The Diver Black Sea: new wave design for the Diver family.

Dubai, UAE, July 13, 2016:
Embracing its rich seafaring heritage, Ulysse Nardin presents the newest pearl in the Diver line bringing together the best of its ocean-faring timepieces.
One of the distinguishing characteristics of the Diver Black Sea is its stainless case coated with vulcanized rubber. Not only does this vulcanization process enhance the timepiece’s comfort and flexibility, it multiplies its ability to withstand extreme conditions. The rubber extends to the unidirectional turning bezel, with a rubberized screw crown for added water-resistance to depths of 200 meters.
Diver Black Sea adds sporting style to its chronometric precision: studding the bezel with white ceramic stones that offer a striking contrast to the black rubber. Due to the 3S technique – an exclusive stone setting process developed with a specialist – ceramic stones exhibit a brilliance never seen before. Pure sports chic.
On the open dial, function again fuses with form: a distinctive wave detail recalls the marine heritage of the Swiss watchmaker, while luminescent indexes and hands make maximum legibility in the dark. The small seconds counter is positioned at 6 o’clock, as is the date, with its 42h power reserve indicator showing at 12 o’clock. The 1846 marking denotes the historic DNA of each Ulysse Nardin marine timepiece.
Sapphire crystal on the case front and back reveal the workings of the movement. Boasting two logo elements, the rubber strap has a folding clasp to enhance the sturdiness of this knockout piece.
Along with its indispensable functionality and timekeeping precision – hallmarks of any Ulysse Nardin timepiece – the black and white styling of the Diver Black Sea shows a serious sense of style.
