Decathlon Hosts an Exhilarating Sports Day at the Marina Mall Kuwait

Dubai, UAE, April 30, 2016:  Health and wellness were in the air at prominent sports retailer, Decathlon’s recent event at the Marina Crescent, Marina Mall, Kuwait. Held on the 1st of April from 4:00 pm onwards, the open sports day took place in collaboration with Kuwait based company, Forward events. 

The evening of the event boasted of an entertaining ambiance rife with challenges. A series of sports and fitness activities were planned including a Zumba session, Boot Camp session, a 5K Run and other fun sports. Certified trainers took to the stage to host the classes to interested participants from the audience. The registration for this exciting event took place prior with nearly 200 guests signing up and attending a fitness filled day. Participants received a goody bag comprising of a branded T-shirt, Bib number for the run and bracelet a day preceding the event. The venue was entirely branded in Decathlon flags, backdrop and side banners and branded tents. 

There were a total of six challenges at the event as follows:

• Challenge 1: Plank challenge 
• Challenge 2: Pushups challenge 
• Challenge 3: Sit ups with medicine ball 
• Challenge 4: Basketball Challenge 
• Challenge 5: FOOTBALL Challenge 
• Challenge 6: Rope Jumping

The fun didn’t end with the activities as some lucky participants got the opportunity to take home prizes such as gift vouchers and more. Winners of the run received trophies while race participants got Decathlon branded medals. On the day, Decathlon offered its store customers and event participant a special 20% discount on selected items in the store.
