Sharjah, UAE, April 24, 2016: With the holy month of Ramadan quickly approaching, Centro Sharjah partnered with Manzil Center for children with special needs to conduct an art competition with the students by giving them a theme ‘Ramadan in Sharjah’.
The winning designs from the competition were selected to feature as art design for the Ramadan Brochure showcasing the Iftar & Suhoor offerings at the Hotel.
“Our approach this year, was to involve the community in Sharjah and use the event to highlight the outstanding talent and creative skills of children with special needs” said Michael Kasch, General Manager of Centro Sharjah. He further added “We thoroughly admire the efforts of Manzil Center towards the development of the children and would like to thank Shurooq for providing wonderful gifts for all the students who participated”
The event started with the judges from Centro Sharjah & Manzil shortlisting the best designs from the 40 entries that were received. Post selecting the winners, through a ceremony all the students were felicitated with a certificated and goodie bag of gifts from Shurooq. “We eagerly look forward to seeing the winning designs as part of the Ramadan brochure of Centro Sharjah and are extremely proud of our students for their talent and the creativity they showcased” said Dr. Ayesha Saeed Husaini, Director of Manzil.
You are cordially invited to visit Centro Sharjah during Ramadan as all the designs of the students will feature in the Hotel’s Lobby all through the Holy Month for guests to see!
