Dabur Egypt inaugurates new administrative headquarters in New Cairo

April 17, 2016 –Dabur Egypt Limited, a market leader of high quality cosmetics and personal care products, recently celebrated the opening of its new administrative headquarters in New Cairo, Egypt. This is part of the company’s strategic growth and expansion plan across the country and region. The opening ceremony was attended by company’s senior executives, namely; Dr. Anand Burman, Dabur India Chairman, Mr. Sunil Duggal, CEO of Dabur India; Mr. Mohit Malhotra, CEO of Dabur International; and Mr. Anoop Sharma, Country Manager of Dabur Egypt, along with a group of senior officials and employees from the company, and business partners
The strategic move complements Dabur Egypt’s overwhelming success over the past few years, having scored an 11 per cent increase in sales in 2015 with a total of EGP461 million. The new office will offer administrative and executive support to the company’s operations in Egypt and Africa, as well as help operate the company’s stat of the art plant in 10th of Ramadan City, Cairo.
A notable highlight during the opening ceremony was the launch of Dabur’s Dermoviva brand in the local market, including Dermoviva Face care range which is the latest addition to the company’s portfolio in Egypt.
Duggal indicated that the new office will provide Dabur Egypt with the necessary tools and flexibility to optimally leverage on the emerging opportunities in Egypt in line with its strategic plans to expand and reinforce its presence regionally and globally.
For his part, Mr. Mohit Malhotra, CEO of Dabur International, said: “Dabur Egypt enjoys a prominent presence in Egypt, supported by a wide range expertise spanning more than two decades in the local market. The new office in New Cairo reflects our ongoing commitment to reach the largest possible segment of customers and provide them with the best-in-class innovative products that are specifically designed under the highest standards of quality, efficiency and professionalism in the field of personal care, in line with our ambitious vision to meet the various needs and requirements of our customers”.
Dabur Egypt’s new office features a unique interior and architecture in accordance with the best green practices in engineering. Constructed with green building material, the office allows natural sunlight to brighten up the facility throughout the entire day in order to help significantly reduce energy consumption. It also includes wide open spaces and state-of-the-art offices and meeting rooms that are well equipped with the latest tools and practical solutions to ensure an ultimately comfortable and healthy work environment.
