DUBAI, United Arab Emirates – March 29, 2016 – Samsung Gulf Electronics will showcase all-new product innovations across multiple categories to consumers at the 2016 edition of GITEX Shopper at Dubai World Trade Center. From March 30 to April 2, a wide range of Samsung products will be on display, including the Galaxy ecosystem, featuring the new flagship smartphones Galaxy S7 and S7 edge.
Created for today's consumer lifestyle, Galaxy S7 and Galaxy S7 edge lead the industry with a refined design, more advanced camera and streamlined software functionality. They connect seamlessly to a range of products, including the Gear VR virtual reality headset that works seamlessly with Galaxy smartphones. All you need to do is slip in your phone and you're free to take on the world and beyond.
An integral part of the Galaxy ecosystem that will be available at Samsung’s GITEX stand is the Gear S2 smartwatch, available in Sport, Classic and Premium models with a wide variety of straps. The Premium edition is available in platinum and gold color. The smartwatch is designed to enhance the everyday life of the consumer by providing convenient access to essential and customizable content right from one’s wrist.
Also on display at this year’s GITEX Shopper is Samsung’s latest productivity tool, the Galaxy TabPro S, which is brand new on the market. By integrating the most popular features of laptops and tablets in this 2-in-1 device, Samsung is now offering users access to full notebook PC functionality in a lightweight tablet. At under 700 grams, with a full size keyboard built into the cover, it is designed to allow consumers to take their office with them wherever they go, introducing a new era of mobility.
Commenting on Samsung’s appearance at the show, Mr. Purushotham, Head of Marketing (Smartphones & Tablets), IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Gulf Electronics, said, “Samsung is back at GITEX Shopper for the seventh year in a row, showcasing new product innovations that make life easier for our customers in the GCC region.
